Cincinnati Music Festivals (CMT) is a celebration of contemporary Americana, rooted in the blues, gospel, folk, blues-rock and R&b genres.
The CMT runs through the weekend of July 27-30.CMT has seen a number of musical and artistic performances in recent years, including the debut of R&B superstar Kacey Musgraves on July 10 and the debut performances of the new-wave duo the Daughters of the Summer on July 19 and 20.
The CMT continues to feature world-class musical acts from the South, but its biggest stars have been the South American performers from Mexico.
It also has a number on the Americana charts, with hits from bands like the Black Keys and Kacey.
The 2017 CMT also featured a number one country hit with “Dancing in the Dark.”
