Aussie DJs Chyna and The Kinks were in Wellington today, playing a hip hop and house fusion festival.
The duo opened their show with a set that featured a funky jazz instrumental mash-up.
The Kinks and Chyna opened their sets at the Folsom Street Festival, which was held on Sunday in Wellington.
The event featured an all-day hip hop festival.
The festival started at 9am with a free music session.
The next day featured a music showcase that featured the likes of Lil B, DJ Snake, Dizzee Rascal, Lil Yachty, Lil B and Big Sean.
On the festival’s third day, the Kinks added DJ Bats to the line-up with a DJ set and dance floor.
After a set by Lil Yacheng on Saturday, the pair went into a dance floor, which included a house mix from DJ Babs and DJ Yach.
The DJ’s set ended with the opening of the Kinkster’s DJ set.
The duo’s set also featured a mash-ups from Lil B’s debut album, ‘Folsom’, and the upcoming album ‘Till Death Do Us Part’, which is set to be released in early 2018.
Aussie DJ Chyna, whose stage name is Chyna Dog, opened her show with an all day hip hop dance party.
It featured hits from Lil Yacht, Lil Boosie, The Neptunes, Tiesto, Daz Dillinger, DJ Bops and more.
Chyna and the Kinky’s performance was a hit with attendees, with many coming out to hear the DJ.
It was a huge success, and the two performed at the Wellington Street Festival in Wellington on Sunday.
